Hey guys, I'm not *totally* new to vaping, but still pretty much a noob :)

Started out with a Kanger Protank 1, and "fat" vision spinner. I'm sensitive to both nicotine, PG, and throat hit in general; probably because I've never a smoker. Ended up not touching it after a few weeks of using it here and there, it just didn't wick my high VG liquid well at all... Now it has sat in my cabinet for a couple years basically untouched. The liquid came from EC Blend Flavors, which honestly, I don't think they do a stellar job at all so it may have just been my crappy juice.

Decided to look into vapes again and saw "sub-ohm" vaping meant for producing dense, massive clouds with high VG juice. Since I don't vape for the nicotine, clouds and flavor are what matter to me. High VG didn't seem to be a thing then, but now a lot of people seem to be seeking it out. After a little research I went and bought parts to make a couple vapes: Kanger Subtank Nano w/ a 30W iStick, and an Atlantis 2 paired with the Smok M80 Plus.

Looking for some companies making **top shelf** high VG or all VG e-liquid that'll work well in those tanks. Not looking for budget juice, since I don't vape often but want to really enjoy it when I do. I already have some juice from Velvet Cloud on its way, and some "max vg" juice coming from Gypsy eJuice (Gretchen's Vapothecary). Are there any others I should be checking out?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions!! :)

Thanks for the replies so far. I took at look at Mt Baker and they have a plain cheesecake flavor. I've really been looking for a great cheesecake flavor juice without fruit thrown in the mix. Has anyone tried theirs?

Also, their prices are pretty darn cheap compared to Velvet Cloud. Is MBV considered more of a cheaper vape, or a "gourmet" vendor?

MBV is easily one of the cheapest vendors, but the juice (in my, and many others' opinions) is very high quality. Because it's so cheap, and they have so many flavors, I recommend buying a messload of smaller bottles to figure out what you really like, then re-ordering in bulk (236mL = 45$!)

I have tried a majority of the MBV flavors at this point. Cheesecake is pretty good, but it is definitely very cheesy in a way. Has like.. A marshmallow sort of feel to it almost? It's not one of my favorites, but it's pretty tasty. It mixes well with fruit flavors.

When Nicoticket had their "NY Cheesecake" that was my go-to. The MBV cheesecake is good, but very far from Nicoticket's "NY Cheesecake".

So many choices :)

Thanks guys for all the help. I saw that Highbrow Cheesecake Torte was a cheesecake favorite here, and just ordered a bottle (VG, double flavoring). When I need to restock I'll check these sites out too. Vape Kitchen looked expensive, $22 for 30mL. Though if it's good enough to warrant the pricing I might just have to order something from them and try it out once I get through some of this first wave of juices.

Unrelated questions: How can I cycle through different flavors on these tanks both quickly and safely? I got small bottles of these different flavors to just sample before I buy any certain liquid in larger quantities.

My concern is that if I try and vape the coils dry, the cotton wicks will burn out. And also that if i dont vape out the flavor previously used in that tank almost completely, it will intermingle with the newly filled juice to the point where the flavors combine in the tank.

And...how long is the shelf life of these juices? Not sure how fast I have to get through them before they go bad.

as far as testing the juices, if you want to get really .... about it the only choice is to re-wick between juices. but if it was me i would just vape it till its nearly dry, add a different juice, and vape for 10 minutes or so before i judge the flavor, should get most of the old flavor out after a little while vaping. as far as shelf life, most juices are good for about a year if stored properly (dark, cool place)

In a dripper, you can vape the original flavor until you begin to get a burnt taste. Then just add the second flavor. You may detect the original flavor for a couple of puffs, then the second one will dominate.

A tank is slightly more complicated. I would just drain the tank of the first flavor, and then add the second flavor. (Others might actually clean the tank, but I don't bother.) Again, the original flavor will be on the wick for a couple of puffs, but the second flavor will soon dominate once it saturates the wick.

Most have a shelf life of at least one year. I have recently been going through some boxes of vape gear and found some infinished 2 year old juice (18 mg, and I currently use 6 mg ); I diluted it with some unflavored vegetable glycerin I use from Walmart and it still "tastes" good. Still a little harsh from the extra nic, but definitely vapeable.

Maybe I am just an idiot and can't use these vapes properly...but I tried 30W on my subtank with the .5ohm coil and burned my wick. This was even after I let it soak for a few minutes. Switched the coil, but it still gets WAYYY too hot at 30W. 20W is about the max I can go before it starts to give me burnt up tasting hits, but the clouds suck... I was running Velvet Cloud Strawb-Gwab in the Subtank on the 30W eleaf. Got too many hits that just burned my throat with this little guy....

My Atlantis also proved to run wayyyy too hot at the specified wattages for the .3 ohm coil, 80W resulted in an extremely hot mouthpiece and hottt vapor. 70W was pretty much just as bad. It wasn't until I brought the M80 Plus down to 50W that it began being manageable, but the massive clouds purported to come from the Atlantis weren't all that impressive. I was running an 85% VG juice from Gypsy eJuice in it.

Quite depressing if I do say so myself.

Would going up to the higher ohm coils (.5 to 1 on the subtank, .3 to .5 on the atlantis) help the situation at all? This high vg stuff might not be wicking fast enough.
I don't think it would make that much of a difference. The problem, is higher vg is too slow sometimes to saturate the wicking fast enough to keep up with certain vaping techniques(chain).

I would have figured lower ohm coils ate through liquid more quickly than their higher ohm counterparts.

What I've noticed is that the Atlantis seems to keep up a bit better than the subtank. I was actually concerned about the subtank when i first opened the box and compared it to the atlantis, the juice flow holes on the OCC head were larger on the atlantis. It also had four as opposed to only two on the subtank.
