As of today I've only tried V4L cartomizers and juices, but that should change by tomorrow, I have samples aplenty on the way.

I'm struggling with quitting the analogs and I think it's due to the low nic levels of the carts. I was smoking a pack and a half a day of Pall Mall Menthol, not sure the nic level there. So far I don't really like any of the menthol flavors I've tried, and I just can't handle any flavor in a strength over 8mg. I can vape an 8 or 4mg and get no TH and it's great, but every 11mg and the few 24s I have choke me so bad I can't inhale them at all. If I take a small enough draw that I can inhale I get no vapor production.

i'm expecting samples from Vapor Renu, FSUSA, StrictlyEJuice, madvapes, VaporStation, Vapure, Bomb Drops, Velvet Vapors, Puresmoker, Perfumers Apprentice- some from classifieds and some just plain good deals. My mom wants to try several flavors also so she helped with my order binge (kind of like shopping when you're hungry- EVERYTHING looks good~!) Mom and I have started a seperate bank account now which we'll put $10 each a week in for our PIF obligations and our next shopping excursion.

I see myself having plenty for the classifieds or PIF, but hopefully I find some nice vapes without the harsh TH but with enough nic level.

Right now I use the timer on my phone and started yesterday smoke an analog, set the timer for 2 hours. Smoke an analog, set the timer for 2 hours 5 minutes, increasing in 5 minute increments. I do find myself checking the timer about 20 minutes (if I'm lucky, an hour sometimes), before I'm due, but it does seem to be helping me avoid the nasties.

Nic doesn't really have anything to do with TH unless you vape at a real high nic level. It's the pg/vg ratio that you should concern yourself with. The higher the pg level the more of a TH you will get. The higher VG level the more vapor you get.

I like a ratio of 70/30. Others like 80/20 or 50/50 or whatever. Just experiment with the sample when you order them and find what works best for you.

If you are having real bad cravings, then you might want to up the nic level.

Did you order some of your juices in VG? I was (am,... whatever) a heavy smoker and I have a problem with the TH in PG juices. I only use the VG (or mostly VG formula) now and it works out much better for me. With the variety you have ordered, I'm sure you'll find a taste you like in a PG/VG formula and nic level that'll be just right :)

not sure what the levels are for V4L. I ordered several samplers- both menthol, fruit, drinks, and several other flavors that didn't do it for me and are on the classifieds. My favorite was Wow White Chocolate 4mg, but the carts seemed to get warm and a little burned tasting really quickly. I also really like Cool Carts Watermelon and Sour Green Apple 8mg, and pina colada 8mg. All the menthols are like eating Vaopr Rub to me.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that nic does relate to throat hit. To test this theory, let some of that raw juice go down your throat- you will gag- it is a nerve contraction. The nicotine produces a gag response. Smoking or vaping nicotine stimulates a tinge- a minor onset to the gag reflex. So higher nicotine gives a throat hit.

Maybe try some samples of thin mint cookie flavor in mostly vg at 12mg 18mg and maybe 24mg depending on how much you think you need. I believe freedomsmokeusa's thin mint is 50/50 which works good for me, but you might need to try somewhere you can get even higher vg. I found a mint chocolate here September Flavor of the month- Mint Chocolate Drip 12mg | E-Liquids and DIY | iVAPE that is on sale really cheap for 10ml. I don't know what the ratio of pg/vg is on it though.

Oops- I just wanted to add that yes I believe nicotine does effect throat hit but not to the same extent as PG. I am pretty sure you can go as high as 24 mg maybe even higher and if it's mostly or all VG juice you will get very little throat hit. Don't quote me on this, but I think that is correct.
