Revisiting nic levels

Ok, I'm still fairly new to vaping, so forgive me if this is being redundant,
but I was at first under the impression that a higher nic level would enhance flavor.
It seems true for some flavors (tobacco maybe) and the opposite for others. I guess it's what you're
aiming for in your conversion from analog to digital, right?

I'm really into DIY and finding this to be a great adventure!

Btw, Ry4 is taking on new revelations by simply lowering the nic level.
Hey, who knows, maybe I'll be at zero nic someday!

If you're getting hiccups, headaches, nausea...lower your nic levels or put the mod down once in a while.

If you're staring lovingly at the pack of Camels in the 7-11 and craving smoke, up the levels a bit.

Everyone has their own level of comfort, your body will tell you what yours may be, listen to it....
Flavor-wise the nicotine never bothered me, but starting out I used only very strong flavors and 36mg eliquid. As I progressed I have been able to lower it to the 12-15mg and enjoy more delicate flavors. Took over 4 years to get there, don't rush yourself....:vapor:

I don't think nic level has much to do with flavor. Do you remember the flavor of cigarettes? Most of the time it was pretty nondescript and sort of unpleasant. I'm not saying that it is the same with vaping but sometimes you are just getting the nic and others it is sublime (just like cigs). Use 12mg 50/50vg/pg and if you get a nice flavor you are ahead of the game. But hey, you are a lot healthier! I wouldn't worry too much about eliminating the nic just yet - it won't kill you.

I started vaping about 3 months now.At first I experienced the withdrawals at 12mg, and 18mg seemed to be the happy medium.
Then I began mixing and couldn't put down the mod, e.g. getting hiccups, headaches, nausea...
I 've found it comfortable to carry one carto for tobacco (higher nic level) and another carto (fruit or dessert flavor) at a lower level to break it up.
That's what I really like about diy at your own pace!
Thanks for your input!
