I almost OD'd on my new REO. It took awhile but figured out that my coil works when HIGHER off the ceramic deck. I had it too low. I rewicked it 7 times THEN lifted that baby UP and I was immediately transcended into Reoville...WOW!

Pics to follow- I think I left my celly at my office such a bummer.

ps. I got home at 1:05 and scanned for the mail truck and BOOM...it was there. It was a new guy and I asked him "I am in unit ___, is there something for me to sign for?" He asked for my last name and he said "yea, I have something for you and you have another box(more vape mail) so you have a key in there."

SHAZZAM! He was a new guy..."EDDY" and he had left the REO mail in my box so I was good either way. He said "someone at the office would sign off on it." something like that. I was so happy and now......

How do you depress the clicky button and squonk at the same time with one hand:confused:

If your coil is just above the airhole how is your wick just above the airhole. Where are your wick tails?

Hanging down from the coil...

My wick is ALWAYS right above the air hole. Someone explained the science behind that here a few posts back, but in a nutshell... The air comes in and scoops up UNDER the coil which boosts that flavor 1000%. It was such a genius move.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You...I had my coil at the same level as the air hole. The vape was great but now it's even better. This RM2 is getting better and better as I get used to it.

I'm not sure what other Reonauts have done, but I finally took the plunge and drilled out the airhole to 1/16". It made a huge difference for me in vapor production and flavor. Also, I don't have that little bit of "burnt", or dark colored juice on the deck anymore when the time comes to change the wick. May have more to do with how deeply you take your hits. I like the looser draw.

Before I ever hit an Atty, I make sure the hole is to AT LEAST 5/64". I love air though. And to me, it's such a better vape.

For a long while I was re-drilling all my atty air-holes to 1/16". After receiving the RM2 I decided to increase the air-holes to 5/64". I can say as a lung hitter that this is much better. I did notice that the way I draw with the 5/64" that the RM2 had a tendency to whistle so I chamfered the hole just a touch to eliminate this. Works great.

We already blow clouds like a train.. Might as well whistle like one too, right?

I have 2 of the chrome RM2's and 2 of the brass ones. The strange thing is(and folks are gonna think that I'm nuts...lol)that after re-sizing all of the air-holes to 5/64" that the chrome ones didn't whistle and the brass ones did. Makes absolutely no sense to me. I swear, I could go outside with one of the brass ones and have every neighborhood dog barking in a matter of seconds.

I see no one addressed this. You don't. Squonk. Then vape. If your wick has a few mm hanging outside the coil, (which is pretty much how I do it), then the wick will hold enough juice for a few vapes. Then squonk again. Vape. Repeat until finished which for me is when I die :)

I think this may have been a coincidence. I'm not sure the science behind the direction or way travels that makes something whistle, but I'm going to guess it would be something like the way you drill the hole. Maybe you didn't drill straight in but at a slight angle?

Lol.. I don't even know.

That would make more sense than anything else, and you are probably right. I don't have a drill press so I did them with a hand drill. They look straight to these 52yr old eyes.
