Welcome to ECF gallardo :) I started out with the standard 510 model and then moved up to the eGo and Riva, which are still 510 models but with bigger, longer lasting battery life. One battery will last me all day and I really like that a lot better than having to charge batteries all day long. I also use the 510 cartomizer, which is the atomizer and cartridge all in one which makes my Riva or eGo a 2 piece unit. There is tons of info here on ECF so take your time and ask questions. :)

I started with the 510 from cignot (great service), but I just didn't like it. I stopped vaping for a while then bought the Kr808 (vaporking) from vapor4life.com. I absolutely love the thing! Cartomizers are the best thing ever made (for lazy people like me). If i could go back, i would have started with the kr808 and saved myself the stress. I am excited to be getting the eGo with some 510 cartomizers.

If you decide to get a 510, you should definently get some 510 cartomizers to use while you learn about atomizers, cart mods, and dripping. Good Luck, you will love vaping.

Ditto CES above on the link. It is long, but Don has an easy-read writing style, and LOTS of pictures so you can see what the various models look like. Will give a solid foundation of knowledge to make an informed decision...it helped me a lot for sure. To that link I would also add another of Don's posts
