My wife went to the hospital on October 30 with abdominal pain....She is pregnant with our first child and we wer worried that the baby would be born 2 months early. They worked so hard to monitor the baby and to figure out what was the pain comming from....over a week went by and still no answers. Finally my wifes doctor wanted another MRI to be ordered....but our insurance would not permit it. Well our doctor said screw the insurance and ordered the MRI anyways. After the MRI was done they found that my wifes appendix had ruptured and she needed to go into emergency surgery last night to get her appendix out.

Today my wife is doing well(she should be out in about 4 days:)) and our baby is safe and thats why im so thankful for not only the doctors and nurses at Sharp Mary Birch hospital for not giving up...But to all people that call themselves doctor or nurse. You people have a tough job and sacrifice alot of yourselves to help others. The world is a much better place because of you :) Thank you

This is hard to post this but it is truly the most thing I'm grateful for besides my wife ,after 30 years of drug and alcohol abuse I've been clean and sober for the last 15 years and now tobacco free for close to a year now,its not easy at times to undo the mistakes of my youth but I finally grew up and thanks to God and e- cigarettes and of course my wife.

I am thankful for my family and for the friends that I have made here on ECF. I have been trying to quit smoking for several years. It got a more urgent boost after my father passed away almost three years ago. Nothing worked. My Doctor had told me earlier this year that if I did not quit I was going to die within shortorder. I suffer from High-Blood Pressure and early stages of emphysema and COPD. By accident I met Ms. SpaceKitty in a contest on Facebook, she took me under her wing and with her help I won an e-cig kit. From that point on I have not touched an analog. That has been almost 4 months now. I am very grateful and thankful for meeting Ms. SpaceKitty, I credit her for saving my life! Thank You Louise! Because of you I am now off of most of my BloodPressure medicine, the Emphysema is almost none existant! The COPD is better but I will have to learn to live with it!(Its hereditary). I am not the only one Ms. SpaceKitty has helped, she has this unerring knack for helping others and for that I am Thankful!!

Wow where to start...well I am thankfull for my family above all! I'm thankful for my fiancé having a job in this bad economy, for the opportunity to be going back to school, for my kids being extremely smart and excelling in school, for the VA for helping me with all my problems, the great people on this forum that I've become great friends with, the freedoms that we have as being Americans, and finally for the chance to win this awesome contest!-)) thanks for reading!

I'm thankful I found ECF. I have met some of the most wonderful and supportive people in the world here. People like BiancaMontgomery and Prism who have been like sisters to me. The awesome people of the PIF group whom I am fortunate enough to be a moderator for. Best of all though is that I also met my fiance Beebopnjazz here on ECF  we're going to be married January 1st :)
Whether or not I win this contest I am without a doubt the luckiest man in the world :) and I have more than enough reason to be extremely thankful.

I am thankful for my wife who chose to share her life with me. For the beauty of the sunrise and the mystery of the stars. For the good friends and the good times with them. I am thankful that there are kind and brave people in this world that give of themselves to make the world better for all of us. Lastly I am thankful for the contests we have on ecf because they are fun to play;)

This is not a contest for pessimists, but I'll try anyway. I'm thankful for all the great people over in PIF. They helped me stay with vaping until I found some flavors I can go all day with. Now, 6 months later, not only am I off cigarettes, but off nicotine completely. I never even fully intended to quit smoking. But I don't really care if I ever quit vaping.

Its so petty but my deep dark secret is I am thankful when I still get asked for my ID now and then. I used to get so insulted; now I want to throw my arms around the person asking. My husband says he is thankful people don't ask if I'm his daughter anymore.

Oh yeah and I am thankful for all the Hallmark reasons- wonderful sons and husband, good health, good friends and the world's best dog ever- all the things that make me smile every day.

I am thankful for the gifted and caring people in this world who are able to do things day after day that would break my heart to do. The Veterinarians and Vet Techs who work on sick, injured and abused animals and have to watch them suffer and die but continue on for the ones who live. To the Doctors and Nurses who care for cancer patients, sick children and fellow human beings who have no health insurance but still deserve health care and respect! To the social workers who witness or hear of horrible abuse and neglect of children. The hospice workers who hold the hands of patients and their loved ones while watching and helping the patients die with dignity and in as little pain as possible.

I am thankful that the world is filled with people who are each unique, each with different abilities and gifts. I am thankful for the person who gives me the thank you wave when I let them over in traffic. I am thankful for the stranger who gives me a cheery hello in passing. I am thankful for people who open doors and wait patiently while my 89 year old grandmother slowly walks through. I am thankful for people who find a wallet filled with money and return it with every dollar in it.

I am thankful that, even with the difficulties and stress of every day life, there is still kindness in most peoples hearts. I am thankful for each time that I am touched by a smile, a kind word or a thoughtful act of another human being. It reminds me that, no matter how bad my day or week or month or even year has been, there is hope and love and kindness in this world and my smile or kind act may do the same for someone else who is feeling down!

And, of course I am thankful for family, friends, loved ones, pets, jobs, health, ecigs and ECF!

Where to begin? There are so, so many things I am thankful for….

Of course I am thankful for my family and wonderful friends. Right now I am also very thankful that I have a good enough job to support my family, since I am the only one working right now, and it is so sad to see and hear about so many losing everything they have in this crazy economy. I am thankful for all the wonderful people I have meant in my vaping journey…some of my best friends live in my computer!:) I am thankful to wake up each and every morning and to know that God will never give me more than I can handle. I could go on and on, but will stop here and just add thank you so much for the contest!!!!

I have to say that there is not much in life that I am not thankful for and I am thankful for life itself, every day!

Speaking of thankful for life itself, I am thankful that I came out of the WTC, tower 2 alive. I have a second birthday to celebrate every 9/11

I'm thankful for my parents that where strict and brought me up right, without them I wouldn't have what I have today. I look back at what I was yelled at for and how mad I was that I was grounded. Now many moons later I see why they did what they did. Now, I'm the parent, I hope I follow in my parents foot steps and my son can become a fine young man and carry on what I have learned.
