don't throw in the towel, pt! apparently, that is what these scammers are counting on - reddit estimated up to 1/3 of buyers will feel it's not worth the effort to get their money back
you opened a claim with ebay, yes? the seller has one week to respond. if there is no response you can escalate and ebay will make a decision. you should get your money back within 48 hours!

Thanks guys, calling the US is no problem as my home number and cell is still the same. I did go through the did not deliver on time link yesterday and will see what happens.
I called the insurance company of the person that hit my daughter's mirror and they are being very helpful. The agent called the person and left a voicemail and said that if they don't hear back by noon that they will call again. I was willing to accept the original amount my daughter agreed to but the agent said I need to be paid the full price that the dealer would charge. Either way, I'm ok with it.
Just got a email from ebay. The seller asked ebay to review my case and make a decision, I will let you know what happens.
