Morning PT. I've got another side job this morning. One of the guys I work with has a big RV and is having electrical problems. One slide won't come out and the compressor for the air ride doesn't work. Everything on those things is expensive so he asked if I'd take a look at it since he doesn't want to take it to the shop.

i do have a problem with that. Banning smoking was ostensibly a safety issue. That's not the case for vaping. Vaping can be rude in many indoor venues, but it is awfully nice to be able to sit in a bar or in a hotel room and not have to go outside to vape. If people aren't blowing clouds, it's also almost impossible to enforce.

yeah, i hear that. i don't like walking onto rooms full of clouds, but then again, i just would just avoid the businesses that allow it.

I think that in general, laws that are unenforceable, or that are based on personal taste/opinion rather than health/safety aren't likely to be good laws. Laws that are based on deliberate lies about health and safety should be completely blocked.

come to think of it, the only place that i've even seen clouds that were a problem was in vape shops and at vape meets. In Birmingham, vaping was explicitly exempted from the smoking ban. I see vapers blowing clouds outside pretty frequently. I rarely see anyone blowing clouds inside, and rarely see people vape inside.

I have a customer that comes into my work regularly that came in my shop to show me his new mod. He took a deep draw and let loose a cloud right there. All I could think is I hope my boss didn't see it. Some people at work know I vape but I can't do it in the open there and don't want to bring it to the attention of my boss. I see your point about making laws on preference rather than safety and agree.

He's a nice enough guy but he's a cloud chaser. He's was running a 150w box mod with dual sub ohm coils in a bullet rda. He buys all of his stuff at a b&m and pays way too much. I tried to tell him about the forum and online vendors but it didn't stick. He's also anti PG and thinks it's dangerous. I just listened and walked away. I did explain to him that almost all flavorings are pg based.
