    He didn’t. He passed shortly after I made that last post. He was 12 and a half years old. He could have lived longer if not for the kidney failure. He was really my wife’s cat. He cuddled with her. He would never sit with me even though I did play with him. I knew something was wrong this week because he wasn’t coming out in the morning before work to meow at me so I would feed him. Our vet lives in our neighborhood so my wife called him to see what we should do. I wrapped him in a blanket and put him in a box in our shed. It’s going to be tough on her but she will have to take him to the vet in the morning.

    Our last cat was my buddy and used to sit on my lap at night. This one was her buddy and cuddled with her all the time. I wouldn't necessarily be against getting another one but I don't know if she will want to. It will have to be her idea.
