Oh and my youngest daughter is kind of in the same boat. Her car is an 07 and needs work. She doesn't want to put any more money in it so she's looking for a new car.
My oldest just turned 22 and has student loans to pay too. Although it’s against my better judgement, it’s probably smarter to fix it and make it last a little longer.
That's called fix it and cross your fingers. On one hand, something else might go wrong and on the other hand, it could easily go another couple years.
It’s a guessing game for sure. Also there’s no guarantee that something won’t go wrong with a different car she bought to replace it.
I almost forgot that she had an emergency room visit about a month ago that I’ll have a bill coming for. She cut her finger pretty bad while cooking.
You've got that right. Besides everything going on with the oldest, my youngest had to have three wisdom teeth out. That wasn't cheap either.
I agree. We got three prices on getting them out and that was the best price since they gave a cash discount.
We didn't have much of a choice. They were causing her headaches.
I tell you what, don't know if you all remember but I had a dental implant and crown done in OKC before I left for Spain and total was about $3500. I just got finished with 2 more implants and 2 crowns here in Spain just before I left for my last trip and it was $1600 for all.
