The cookout was nice. My wife made cookies and volunteered to help serve food. I got off of work and then went but still got to see her play. The parents all brought something and when they saw that there was going to be plenty left over then they invited the visiting team to eat too.
I always work on Saturdays, Usually it's a just a few hours on my second job, but there's an experiment at my first job that has a couple of steps that have to be done today. The students don't know how to do it by themselves yet.
I fantasize about someday earning enough that i only have to work one job. it's never happened yet, so I'm not holding my breath.
Good morning. CES keep your chin up. I've been contemplating a second job to help pay for college if my wife can't go back to work. It's kinda up in the air right now. Up until now I've been lucky enough to get by with one job. I've had jobs in the past where we worked some Saturday shifts but have been M-F for the last 18 years. One of the sales guys I work with wants me to come over and do some work for him. He's having some electrical issues but it won't pay very well.
Afternoon/evening everyone. I went to the hardware store and got the stuff to seal between the driveway slabs and got a bunch of bags of dirt to build up beside the foundation on the side of the house. Now I just need the motivation to do it all.
