I took my youngest to upgrade her phone tonight. She did good making her iPhone 5 last and got a 6 this time. They were running a deal for $49 so I got off pretty easy.

CES, I was able to keep my company iphone, we are going to switch Ms. PT over from her company cell phone to a private pay but her company is too tight to give up the iphone.
So need to find her one by next year.

It might be worth just going for the new one, PT. i have a 4s, but i'm guessing that the next round of updates won't apply, and it's really, really slow (as is my ipad2)

Good morning.PT, I asked her last night what she was going to do with it and she said she was going to keep it for a back up in case something happens to her new one before she's eligible for upgrade again. I never buy the insurance on them since I could change a screen or battery myself for less than what the insurance costs for a year.
