Today is my Friday this week. I'm off tomorrow and going to get my daughter at college. My wife already brought back some boxes of stuff on her visit a couple weeks ago and I think my daughter could have fit the remainder in her car but my wife was insistent that we go down to help her. That'll be six hours of driving along with packing and carrying boxes. I'm going to be exhausted tomorrow night.

Hitt, be careful driving. It does kinda suck to be in a car for 6 hours on your day off!

When we go there I usually end up doing almost all of the driving. My wife's car is bigger and rides smoother so we always take her car. I'd be more comfortable taking my Jeep but that's out of the question.

Good morning. We are getting ready to go in an hour or so. I knew we'd get a late start. I might end up driving my daughter's car back. She was goofing around with a friend and hurt her arm. It's not serious but she said it's sore.

We made it home around 8:30. It was a long hot day. It was in the 80's there. I'm going to sleep like a rock.

I thought for sure I'd sleep in after going to bed late but was up at 6.

Glad you made it safely and your daughter is home for the summer.

After taking out loans and such to pay for his first year of college, my oldest nephew just joined the Marine reserves as a way to fund the rest of his college education.

We had enough saved for her to pay the first three semesters. I'll be able to save a little for her for the next two after that but she'll need loans. After that my wife's car will be paid off and I should be able to pay for more. I think she'll get a job and chip in too. I just don't want either of the kids to graduate with huge debt.
