I could do it but hate messing around with getting rid of the oil. For 27 it's done and all fluids topped off. I got home this morning and ended up going out looking at more cars. We test drove a 2010 Kia Soul but it's about 1500 more than I want to spend. It is priced below blue book and they won't budge on the price. It's a really nice car.

Good Morning. Of course I would not even consider doing it now, its been a good 30 years since I did it. Much cheaper, easier and these days just getting rid of the oil would be a hassle.

Good morning. PT, we both really like the car but I can't spend that much. My father in law chipped in for the car for my oldest daughter so if he did on this one then we might get it to work. I told my daughter that she needs to take grandpa to look at it and see what he says. It might be a hard sell since he's a retired ford guy.

We took my father in law to look at it. He didn't act very excited about it since he's a Ford guy. I'm not going to get my hopes up. I just got in a small argument with my wife about it. Nothing serious but words were exchanged.

Not really. The argument wasn't directly about the car. It was a comment that she made about something else that tied in with the money discussion.

I guess car buying can be pretty stressful.

It is stressful when you are shopping on a tight budget. I told my daughter that if she really wanted this car that she had to talk to Grandpa about it which can be challenging. He called me late last night and said that he talked to a friend about these cars and his friend said they were good cars so now he's more interested in helping her out with it. He said he might even go there during the day today and try to work them down on the price. I tried but didn't have any luck. He's 83 so maybe they'll give him a senior discount or something.

Had a relaxing weekend, laid out by the pool all day yesterday and just got home a few hours ago.

Yeah the one on FB did not have a e-cig in it. My health is OK, some issues but I am getting older.

I got home tonight and my wife said her father called and flip flopped on the car again. Last night it was good and today it's not. I think we're going to start looking again for something we can buy without his help.
