Thanks Fran. It's kind of a long story but my boss thought he had a bad ballast in his office but it ended up being his computer so I got to work on that today.
It is indeed. I stopped on the way home last night and picked up a power supply for his computer. That way I can get it finished first thing this morning and move on to my work.
I got the power supply installed and it's still running the disk repair utility. I figured it was best to just let it run. Hopefully I'll get at least a few brownie points out of the deal too. Never hurts to build up some points for when you make a mistake.
Headed to bed, having the 3 kings parade here in the afternoon, going to be a sea of people. Then we head out to Madrid on Friday.
Good morning. We got snow overnight and the roads coming to work were horrible.
Good morning y'all. We might get snow today, so the city is mostly shut down. They're playing it safe after so many got stranded in 2014. We don't have the infrastructure to deal with frozen stuff, and most of us don't know how to drive on it.
Even if that was the case here, my boss would still expect us to be at work. He's a good guy to work for but expects his people to be here no matter what.
PT, I wouldn't miss it either and wouldn't be out in it if I didn't have to. I've got plenty of things at home that would keep me busy if I didn't have to be at work.
