Good Morning and thanks! I looked at all of these and a few more questions, the replaceable atties seem pricier, do they last longer? I seem to get anywhere from 6-10 days on my aspire before I change them out.
Hitt I can look at sub ohm but never tried it, or temp control. I need something easy over here as it might be harder to find parts. Oh and size does not matter as I only vape at home or hotel now. Fran, you jut need to rewick the disposable attie and no need to rewire?

Oh ,sorry,PT. You do not want the CL heads, they are vertical. Get the CLR 1.0 ohm and yes you can just change out the cotton many many times. If you mess up a coil and you don't want to rebuild then just toss it. I've been using the same 4 coils for many months and i've only put a new coil in one.

Good morning. Most of my mods will do temp control. I messed around with nickel and titanium wires and really didn't care much for them. Now I either use regular kanthal or stainless steel 316 wire. PT have you considered trying a rebuildable atty. A roll of wire and a bag of cotton last a long time. The nicer rta's have a velocity style deck and are super easy to build on. You can make whatever resistance coil you want to fit your vaping style. I wouldn't worry too much about temp control unless you just want to try it.

Hitt, when I quit smoking almost 5 years ago I did the dripping on a rebuildable coil. While it was OK especially when I had a garage not sure I want to go get wirecutters, ohm meter , etc.. and setup in my spare bedroom. Now do they sell the pre coiled wires I can just drop in the disposable atties like the ego one?

There are pre-wound coils but you still have to mount them and wick them. The velocity style decks like on the Merlin, goblin mini v3, Ammit, Serpent are super easy to mount and wick. There are regular drop in coils for the crown tanks but the crown is pretty much a lung hit sub ohm tank. You can get a coil tester like the one I have here Geek Vape 521 Tab Mini Ohm Reader | Smaller & Stronger. You can build and test fire on it. It takes an 18650 battery. There is also a nice little tool kit that I have from geekvape that has everything you need along with coil winders in one zip up case. Coil Master DIY Kit V2. I haven't used pre-made coils except for the crown coils in a long time. Most of those seemed to last me at least a few weeks each.

Thanks Hitt. I'm just planning as Ms PT has 2 more trips before she retires and I'll have her bring some stuff back. Just to confirm with that kit you recommend to build coils, I dont need anything else except the wire and cotton wick? Is it easier to build than it was 4-5 years ago? I just remember cutting Kanthal wire and hand wrapping it around a chop stick and it was a pain. Also I have a pic of the egoone atty, can you conform all I need to replace is the wick (Black Arrow) and the coil (Red Arrow) I can reuse the rest?

Yes, with that kit, you just need whatever kind of wire you want to use and some cotton for wick. The coiling tools make it very easy to make your own coils. I had a set of kuro coilers before I bought the kit but the kit I got came with another set. You just feed the wire through a little hole and spin the cap and it wraps the coil. You just do however many wraps you want to get the resistance you are after. Here's a demo of the kuro coilers.

Yes that is all you need but you can rewick each coil many times.
