I took my youngest to get new sneakers last night. She wanted new ones for her school trip. I forget what it's like to not have to break in a pair of shoes. I've been rotating in a new pair of work shoes for a couple weeks now and they still aren't where I want them as far as being broken in. I might do a second treatment of leather conditioner on them.

Good morning. We went to a pre-festival concert last night at the high school. They had the freshman orchestra, percussion ensemble, band, and a special performance for the kids going on the Disney trip this week. It was good but really long. They leave tomorrow morning for Disney.
I know. I've been getting up early with her on early rehearsal days to make her lunch and see her off. I'm kinda glad that part is coming to an end. She has to be at the airport by 4:30 in the morning so my wife is going to take her and they are picking up a mother and daughter that are going since they don't have a ride to the airport. I know my wife would have liked to go with our daughter but the funds just weren't available for that right now. Maybe next time.
It's too bad your wife couldn't go but I'm sure your daughter will have a great time.
Good morning. I'm sure Ms Hitt wanted a getaway with her daughter, she will still have a great time.
I would have liked for her to go but between college tuition and everything else, we just don't have the money to spend on it right now.
