I know. I could probably ask my BiL but don't want to. He had heart problems a couple years ago and is diabetic.
I don't remember for sure but he might. He's a lot better mechanic than I am.
Are you sure it's a single bearing? Many newer cars have hub assemblys instead.
I'm not sure but I think he called it a knuckle. Anyway he removed it completely from the car, put it in the press, and pressed out the old bearing and pushed the new one in.

Construction continues to move at a snail's pace. The plumbing is in, HVAC and electrical are next. Everyone is busy, so we have to wait our turn, but we're next on the list as soon the HVAC guys and the electricians finish the current jobs-should be this week . Good thing, since as of last night, the 12 year old AC unit has decided to send out only coolish (not cold) air.

Good morning. PT, no I didn't get the bearing fixed yet. I called a couple places this morning and no one is able to get it in until Wednesday or Thursday with the holiday. I did find out that it's probably going to be around $300 plus whatever the alignment costs.
