Thanks Fran and CES. It didn't really hit me until I got to work and my boss asked how I was. I told him about my dad and just started to tear up. I came in the shop by myself and cried.
Me too. I had no idea he would go this fast when I saw him.
I talked with my sister tonight and the funeral will be Friday so we'll drive all day Thursday to get there.
Thanks. I was already really far behind at work before I went the first time. I'm going to have to work like crazy the next couple days and then when I get back.
i imagine keeping busy might help some- but hopefully you'll get some help so that you don't have to stress about staying caught up. I'm also glad that you were able to spend the time with your Dad.

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately I'm a one man show in the service department so whatever is left undone stays undone and anything that comes in while I'm gone will add to the pile. It will probably be good to keep my mind off of things when I return.
I'm sure it will be good to stay busy. Hope you don't get buried in work though.
I'm not going to stress over it right now. I'll deal with it when I come back.
