I forgot to mention that one of the ecig starter kits I bought for my brother in law had a bad battery. I got him another one and got him set up last night. He's really excited about it and I think he might be an easy one to convert to ecigs. I'm not sure about his girlfriend/live in. She's pretty quiet and didn't say anything about it last night.

Wish I could convert my wife to ANYTHING to get her off the cigarettes. She is against vaping because of all the problems we had in 2009 with crappy equipment and juice. I have tried to explain it is different now, purchased 1/2 dozen setups for her to try, then says she will, but they just collect dust. Got some nicotine pouches for her, she says she will try them, they are collecting dust also. I'm not even going to try with Snus. I guess when she can't breath she will quit, but I wish I could convince her to do something sooner.

I've been vaping for over eight years and haven't been able to get my wife to quit smoking either. I offered her some snus once to use during a trip where she couldn't smoke and she thought it was gross. She has a starter kit that I got for her and uses it only when she goes to visit my daughter at college and can't smoke. She also buys nicotine lozenges when she goes and can't smoke. I've got enough mods and tanks to supply an army. She could take her pick of anything that I have.

You've got that right. If they don't really want to then there's nothing that we are going to do. I'll be honest, I didn't really want to quit. I enjoyed smoking but I didn't enjoy the heaviness in my chest and the constant need to clear my throat. Both of my parents had COPD so I knew I had to do something different or I was going to end up just like them. My brother still smokes and has it already. I tried giving my sister a starter kit a few years ago but she never really gave it a try. She said she still has it in her cabinet but I doubt if those old ego batteries would work now.

Almost. We just passed the electrical inspection this morning (yay!) , and i think that there is one final overall inspection for the certificate of occupancy. I'm not sure if the full punch list has to be complete before then.

AS a side note, someone dumpster diving in our construction dumpster dropped a lit cigg, and set it on fire the day before yesterday. He did have the courtesy to call the fire department before driving away (the electricians were there and saw him). It took several hours to get it all the way out. on the bright side, there's now more space in the dumpster
