Ours was near 60 for a couple days and then cold until Friday.

I don’t know if he will get the same thing or not but along with the chemo they gave my wife a medicine to boost her white blood cell count. It caused intense pain for her for a day. She was very sensitive to different food smells so I wouldn’t cook anything with a strong scent. She had decreased appetite so you might have to make him eat to keep up his strength. If I think of more I’ll let you know. She needed lots of rest the first few days after.

I know it effects everyone differently. Hubs already has a decreased appetite but still eats what he can. Too much will make him sick. Really hoping the chemo doesn't make that worse.

I think the name of the medicine that they gave her to boost white cell count was called Lupron depot but I'm not sure. Whatever it was, it caused her a lot of pain.
I believe hubs white cell count is fine,at least for now.
Sorry to hear that. I'm sure he wanted to get started and see if it helped with the pain. How long does he have to wait before he can get a new appointment?
Work sucked today. We lost power for over two hours so I couldn’t do anything. Then when it came back on my computer was screwed up. Then I found that the modem was fried and spent better part of the afternoon trying to get a new one to work. It wouldn’t pick up the broadband signal so now we have to have a technician come out to look at it.

I’m very happy for the weekend. It’s been a bad week. It’s good your husband doesn’t have to wait too long.
That is the reason they gave my wife the shots I mentioned. It was to boost white cell count so she could have treatments closer together.
