Me too. We are supposed to have a tech coming today to fix our internet connection

Well, he came and got the modem working but there's still a problem with it talking to our cisco router. We have a call in to a different support company for that.
We found out that the tech that came this morning didn’t bridge the modem so someone is coming in the morning to do it.
He had a little bit of an attitude. He was an older guy and we talked about the router but he acted like it was our responsibility.

We have our final inspection this morning. cross all your fingers and toes that we pass the first time 'round. (it got delayed because someone had to come out and count the plumbing fixtures. Took him 5 min to count, and 4 days to complete the paper work)

the saga is not yet complete....
at the very least we'll have to add a couple more smoke detectors to the old part of the house, and probably do something with the steps from the deck. He's only been here 15 minutes.....
update: those were the only things and we can move mom's stuff into the addition!!!
