No, she’s only six. She’s had hip problems on and off since she was one. Her leg used to go out of socket in the back on one side and we would have to rub it back into place. That was three or four years ago. She also gets bad allergies in the fall. She’s a little overweight right now so that doesn’t help. As soon as the weather gets nicer, I’ll get her out walking more and maybe both of us can shed a few pounds.
She seemed better earlier but now she’s following me around panting to the point where she almost tripped me. The vet gave us some pain meds for when she’s like this. I’m going to give her one.

Good morning. I think the medicine did help. She finally laid down and rested instead of wondering around aimlessly.
She seems to be walking normally today but is sleeping a lot.
Sleeping isn't a bad thing and walking m normally is great.
Yeah, I’m sure she was worn out. She did go out and lay in the grass for a while. It’s still kinda chilly here but there’s nice sun.
I got roped into going with my wife to the grocery store. There’s an orchestra festival Thursday and as orchestra parent rep, she’s responsible for organizing the food for the visitor teachers. We picked up an 18lb pork shoulder and a few other things. Some parents are donating stuff but not enough.
