I had thought we were going to get more rain but the sun is back out now. Still a chance of more t-storms.
I’m off to violin lesson shortly. Only about a month left til it comes to an end and she goes to college. My oldest will be home in a few weeks. I haven’t seen her since graduation in May. It’ll be nice to have her home.
I’m back. I’m not sure what we’re doing tonight. My wife mentioned shopping.
It depends if I know I’m looking for something specific. I need some no slip no show socks for some shoes I bought a while back so I’ll look for those while they look at stuff.
Ok, so three stores later I have some socks and a new phone case. My wife and daughter bought some stuff too.
Good morning. I heard some loud banging that woke me up. I thought someone was banging on the door. Somehow the dog locked herself in the bathroom and had it torn apart.
I did. I was pretty angry at getting woken up early again this morning. She woke us up early yesterday. She won’t quit chewing on her paws on the bottom and must have gotten them bad last night. When she’s hurt she walks around nonstop panting and won’t lay down. Her allergies don’t usually start until September but she’s been at her paws on and off all summer so far.
We usually take her to the vet the beginning of the fall for meds. It’s a grass pollen allergy as far as we know. Last year the vet tried a new medication and it had worked better than any year before. Usually it lasts from September until the first frost and then she’s ok. She’s never been like this during the summer.
This is the first day she’s been bad like this. If she isn’t better in a day or two then we’ll be in to see the veterinarian.
I thought it was her paw hurting but my daughter said she’s pretty sure it’s her hip. She has injured it before by jumping off the deck instead of using the two stairs. It’s low to the ground but when she sees a cat or something, sometimes she’ll jump instead of using the stairs.
She seems better some. Last time there was nothing we could do. He said just to let her heal and take it easy.
