Hi Fran. Things are going fairly smoothly this morning. Usually Monday is pretty quiet for me. I usually get the most done.
It has been quiet as far as phone calls. I'm in the middle of a big mess right now. The one I'm working on burned up an entire wiring harness and I'm having to chase all the wires out and replace them. It's not that hard but time consuming.
That and the machine is big, heavy, and on a trailer. I did finish it but strained my back and neck moving it.
I’ll take it easy tonight and hopefully be ready for more punishment tomorrow. I’ve got another one that’s smaller that I have to completely disassemble to replace a generator. It’s only 3 months old and under warranty.
I can use a forklift for it. The trailer that the big one was on was so big that it barely fit through the door so we had to move it in by hand but I did put a dolly under the front to make it a little easier.
It kinda was PT. I’m glad to be busy but a few of them are a little rough on me. This was one. My shoulder is still sore.
You know you're getting old when you have to put on Aspercreme in the morning. I usually make a quick recovery but not today.
Yeah, the downfall of aging. Arthritis across the top of my right-hand fingers decided to kick in this morning.
That stinks. I've had arthritis in my left leg ever since I broke my foot. Some days are worse than others. That's one good reason I need to stay on some kind of exercise routine. The walking and running really helps keep the pain away. That and I need to drop about ten pounds or so. The past year has not been a good exercise year for me. I find myself doing less and less especially during the work week.
I'm sure that has to do with being tired when you get home from work. Yeah the right fingers suck cause I'm right-handed of course. It hasn't flared up for quite a while and it's actually getting better already thank goodness. When it hurt bad it was difficult to use my hand for much.
Hopefully you can vape left handed. When I first got back from the Gulf war years ago, my hands would sometimes lock up while I was working. It didn't last long. It was a side affect from a medicine that they gave us over there to help protect against chemical attacks. It wore off and hasn't happened in a long time.
Yes, I can. About the only thing, I can do with my left...LOL
