Hi fellow forum-goers,

My name is Dan, I just turned 20 on October 1st. I used to smoke 5-6 packs a day since 2 weeks ago. My grandmother bought me a cheap-o eCig from the gas station down the street called "Cig2o". I smoked it for a little, didn't mind it. I did some research and found out I could smoke it anywhere. So I started smoking it in my room where I was not able to smoke before. This little eCig has pretty much never left my mouth for these 2 weeks. I've gone through about 6-7 packs of cartos. This gas station charges 10 bucks for a 3-pack so I figured I need to change my ways because I'm spending more money than I was when I was smoking (I rolled my own cigarettes so they were like 75cents a pack).

I decided to do a little research (while smoking my ecig of course) and I found this great little company called Revolver and I don't mean to advertise but I haven't received my ecig from them yet but I watched/read hundreds of reviews and everybody seemed to love their ecig whether it was an Elite, Gemini, vgo, ion or infiniti ion. They were all positive reviews and I decided to purchase a Revolver Infiniti Ion Deluxe starter kit (2 batteries, 1 atty, 5 cartos, 1 drip tip, 1PCC, 1 wall charger and the mini usb charger.

I gotta tell you guys. I feel as if I'm a major success story. I legitimately tried EVERYTHING to quit, gums, patches, pills, having someone slap you every time you smoke, cold turkey.. everything.. nothing worked. Smoking a cigarette was my FAVORITE thing in the world. This little eCig doesn't taste like a cigarette, but it sure satisfies like one. I got used to the taste after a while and I don't even feel the need to smoke a cig anymore. I still smoke one here and there just for the hell of it or when my battery dies but it's been cut down drastically and soon I wont smoke anymore. Almost out of tobacco anyways.

Anyways, idk if you guys have any reviews for the Infinti Ion or the company itself at all, but I'll be glad to write one once I get this eCig.

I love vaping so much. It feels good to be able to breathe even a little bit better.

See you guys around,
Dan

Congratulations on starting your vaping journey! Wow that was quite the PAD habit. My eGo is fantastical! Riva seems really great too. After looking at what your kit is, you may want to do some looking into the eGo/Riva after you get your kit/see if it's going to be enough for you. That kind of habit really sounds like it's gonna need a fat batt! Those batteries look like they might last 2 or 3 hours. I'd be shocked if they lasted longer then that. There are also many suppliers listed on ECF you may find you will get a better bang for your buck on.

Damn that is alot of cigs. Is there even enough hours in the day to smoke 5-6 packs?, ha:p

I looked up that ecig, and to be honest Im alittle weary of it. They dont give you ANY info on it. What thread type, what mah the battery is, what voltage, etc. Id be careful because a lot of vendors that do that have some weird thread type for their cartos so you can only use their cartos and no one elses. Thats not what you want because buying prefilled cartos is expensive.
Also they dont give you what mah the battery is. Its going to be low so its going to need to be recharged frequently. I feel that based on what you said, this is not going to be enough for you and your going to end up smoking cigs because your batteries are going to be constantly charging. Did you get the automatic or manual battery?
For that price you can get a MUCH MUCH better ecig that will be more powerful, more satisfying and have batteries that will last ALOT longer. Also it would be cheaper!!! You would be able to buy a wide array of attys/cartomizers and then buy any flavor of juice you want and fill them yourself. That will be cheaper and you will enjoy it alot more, and I think it would be much better at satisfying you to keep you off cigs

Thanks guys. I don't plan on saving much money because it seems like it will be the same price for me. I just want to not have to go outside every 3 minutes. I couldn't even enjoy my favorite video games anymore. I'd play a game for maybe 5 minutes "Damn, need a cig". Now I just vape all day. I still smoke outside if I'm in a restaurant or something because with me being young people think I'm trying to be a jerk when I explain to them what an ecig is, but it's still nice to be able to smoke in my house and car.

Yeah, this company is pretty new as well. I talked to one of their sales reps and they're looking for people to open up Kiosks in their local malls, so just e-mail msmith@revolvercig.com if anybody needs a job. They pay 100% for kiosk and you get paid by commission, or low wage and less commission. Too bad my mall already has an ecig kiosk. >.> some random company named Peak. They have a very nice staff as well.

I also smoke Hookah as well, so I'm used to all the different fruity and cool flavors as well, I'll stick with menthol for now but I might buy some fruity stuff sooner or later. I'm looking forward to trying vanilla as well.

Also, if anyone is looking to buy ecig stuff for cheap. Revolver is having a MAJOR black friday sale, I don't mean to advertise for them, but their carto packs (of 5) are gunna be 99 cents! Black Friday Sale, something to look at if you're looking to buy a new one, their Talon "Tank" System looks beautiful. I kind of wish I waited til black friday to place my order but I probably would've spent more on these cartos for the cig2o, haha!

It's nice to be on such an active forum! Glad I found this one! It's pretty much like a live chatroom! haha!

I paid 69.99 but all first time customers get 10% off and the "points" I would've earned from buying it, I was able to use them on the purchase. I also bought 2 30ml bottles of menthol juice for 15.99 each so the order was at 100 bucks, got 10% off (10 bucks) and saved an extra 5 bucks with my "points" so I paid like 86 something.

I probably got screwed, haha. No matter how much research I do, I always buy the most expensive one, haha! xD

Oh geez that worries me even more. Their going to be another mall kiosk ecig. To be honest I would just return it when you get it. I can almost promise you thats not going to be enough for you.

For cheaper you can get a Riva, E-Power, eGo, or kGo that will be so much more enjoyable. They way you describe how much you are going to be vaping you NEED to go with a fat battery. They last alot longer. With that thing your going to need to recharge probably every hour. I use an E-Power and get about a day to a day and a half on one battery, and the kGo also has long battery life. I really think you should reconsider. You could get a Riva for almost half that price and have an ecig that is a whole lot better

For the almost $100 you spent, you could even get a variable voltage device that would let you control your vape and use pretty much any cartomizer.

I would at least start with a 3.7V like the Riva, E-Power, or kGo like I mentioned before. No offense but youve got a hell of a nasty habit and are going to need something that can keep up.

@Zogem 4-5 hours, I'm an insomniac.

@Rob I figured as much. I'll try and return it. If not I'll just try and sell it on eBay. Also, I'd like to read some tutorials on how to make a mod. Something with a long battery life and a huge capacity and I know, this habit has been horrible I can smell all these nasty odors, my hands and clothing wreak of smoke. Even just smelling my arm all I can smell is nastiness. I've taken like 3 showers a day. I wash my skin with bleach and all different kinds of soap, I've been using moisturizing lotion to maybe moisten the smell out of my skin. Hopefully this smell goes away soon. I don't really plan on saving much money on the start, I know it will be expensive to find what I need for an eCig. I just hope I wont have to spend too much money on this. I really wish I checked this forum out before.

The only thing I'm seriously worried about are these cartos from cig2o. I'd rather smoke a crappy eCig that tastes like junk than this cig2o one anymore. My brother is quite a smoker too, if this revolver thing isn't as good I'll just pawn it off to him as an x-mas present mwahahahah! :D
