Just a new member saying hi for the first time on here..

As you can guess from my overly imaginative username.. my name's Mike...

I moved from smoking to vaping at the end of April after 22 years of smoking cigarettes, about 18 of which were at a pack a day. I had a bit of an overlap phase until around mid May.. and then that was it. Good-bye cigarettes. I haven't looked back since.

My first introduction to e-cigs was trying a friend's Ego-T.. the vape was weak and it all just seemed too weird and unsatisfying. With this first impression it appeared this vaping thing was not for me..
However..
A few months later another friend turned up with a little Cloupor mini 30w with an Eleaf Lemo on it and I gave that a try as the vapor production seemed a lot more and juice he was vaping smelled real nice.. and wow.. what a difference it was. I bought myself the same setup.. and started getting into it all.. reading up info, watching a ton of YouTube clips.. trying juice from here, there and everywhere.. I was really getting into this.

A few short months later.. I'm now armed with an arsenal of devices.. there's box mods (parallel and series, regulated and unregulated), mechs, a TC mod to give that all a try, RTAs and RDAs galore, a whole heap of different wires and tools... with still plenty more new toys on the way, still more juices to explore and I think I'm very much in love with vaping.
It's all well and truly become a hobby as well as just having been a new habit to replace tobacco, and I couldn't be happier!

So there's my vaping life story thus far.. if anyone cared to read the ramble.. I hope I didn't put anyone to sleep :)

see ya round,

Glad you made your way here!
The equipment really makes the difference hey?
I had tried my friends E-cigs back in the day that they had just made their way over to the USA.
It was always the something missing thing. when I finally decided to quit this time, Moved pretty quick through everything.

Now sittin here with 2 high powered box mods beside me....

Thanks guys!
And yeah @Spencer87.. The equipment has been very important.. Not only has it been enjoyable to try new stuff but having different devices and attys to use gave me the ability to have variety in my vaping experience. The investment also helped me commit to sticking with it and the cash from giving up tobacco gave me a pretty decent vape budget to do it all (with the cost of cigarettes here when I quit I was at $800 AUD/month).

Yea, From what I heard you guys are at like.... $19 AUD a pack now? That is Crazy. I couldnt do it. You see my banner saying how much I saved, almost at 2000$ now. But that is here in Japan. If I was back in Canada, That would be close to 250% more, where smokes are 10-12$ a pack.
Loving it.

Its good you figured out the good stuff faster. It took me a long time to figure out what worked for me, And lots of money later.... haha.
