Well. . Yet another 'noob' hear ;)

I started vaping on June 30th and to be honest it is costing me more money vaping vs. smoking due to the fact that I made my own analogs for a few years. Cost was around $1.09/$1.17 per pack. I was a 1.5/2 pad smoker.
That is fine with me as I don't mind spending more.. Not what vaping is about to me, I am one of the few people that like smoking, I have never tried to quite. I started when I was 13 (born in 1974) and never looked back untill my daughter was born in '08. I stopped smoking in the house when we found out that a bun was in the oven, big step for me. I always said "it is the only bad thing I do now, I will never quit".... "My dad didn't raise a quiter"!!!

Well on that same day, June 30th (this year), I bought a Blu starter kit and I quit smoking analogs and I vape 100%.. I guess my old man did raise a quiter

I got my first bottle of juice, Vape Dudes, and I have been rocking that for a few days now (refilling the Blu carto's). Today the wife and I sat down and I ordered a eGo Twist 900mah and eGo Passthrough 1100mah and some carto's, etc from vaping zone. When that arrives I will be giving the blu kit to my father in law to aid him in quiting.

The cost goes down quickly after you settle on a system and juices, unless you're the type to always try new things.

LOL, yah... I know it will go down after the investment is over. The only thing I am thinking about is the Saber touch just because there isn't a switch/button.. you are the button, you complete the switch. The Blu is an auto battery and the eGo's are a manual batteries but w/ the Saber Touch you have to touch it in 2 different spots for the MOD to activate which is IMO a great safety feature.
I guess time will tell ;)

Welcome to ECF ;) Sounds as if you are well on the way and already paying it forward, congratulations.

Lots of us here to help in any way we can, and congratulations for being a quitter ;)

Thanks.. He is getting ready to retire and doesn't want to spend the money on a decent PV and he doesn't really like the looks of them, as I imagine that some people don't. I have 'converted' 2 people at work already. They can see how much better I'm feelin in just the short time so they figure that there might be more to these e-cigs then they thought.

Don't consider yourself a Quitter say I switched up to something better :) I think you made a wise choice. My granddaughter was our deciding factor we smoked 2 1/2 packs a day between us.

LOL, yuuup, I'm fine with it.. no worries. Funny how the little ones in our lives can change it for the better ;)
