Hi guys. First post.

So i put a Zeus X tank on my HOG and it shows no atomizer error. I tried other tanks and they work fine. The Zeus tank works fine on other mods. So I am assuming Zeus bottom threat doesn't touch the 510 contact on the HOG. I do notice a slit on the 510 contact. So is it possible raising and lowering the contact? Is the 510 connector adjustable? I didn't want to mess with it without confirmation.

Other i tried another atty on HOG at it recognized it. So for some reason the mod can't seem to.make contact with Zeus tank. Again, Zeus tank works OK on other mods.

Yep... Sounds like your Tank's Center Pin isn't protruding out enough to make contact.

Most of the time, the Center Pin on an Atomizer is Not Adjustable. It's purpose is to hold something down. Usually the Positive side of the Deck. So if you back the Center Pin out to make it protrude more, parts of your Atomizer will become lose.

But that doesn't mean that you can't put a Small O-Ring behind the Center Pin. That way when you Tighten it it Doesn't Bottom Out before it becomes Tight.

Leaving More Center Pin Sticking Out.

The Hardest Part is Finding Super Small O-Rings. Though e-Bay probably has the relatively cheap.

Thanks for the reply. The mod contact pin does have a slit like a screw. Maybe I can turn the mod deck pin left to bring it up a bit so it touches the atty contact pin.

Given the choice of the Two, I would Always Fool with the Atomizer verses the Mod.

If the Center Pin for you Mod can be raised, it will probably Fix the issue with your Zeus X. But it also might cause a Gap and or Wobbliness with all your Other Atomizers.

But try it to at least know that it is a Center Pin Issue.
