Not much to this one but I have great memories. When I lived in AK, one of the neighborhood kids stopped by to visit my dog. My Samoyed, Casper, was well known and loved. A shelter rescue that had to go through 2 major surgeries to be able to walk as he should. While in the shelter, many of the kids ended up taking him for walks and playing with him. Nobody wanted him because of the expense of the surgeries so he was a long time resident of the shelter. When I finally adopted him, the kids would come to my house to visit him and take him for walks. They visited and brought him presents through the recovery of both leg surgeries. Well, this one little gal stopped to visit him every day on her walk home from school. I was playing with images and she showed me the one above and wanted it glittered. It took me all of 5 minutes and she was so happy.

Once there was a woman who had both a daughter of her own, whom she loved, and a step-daughter, whom she hated. One day, the woman ordered her husband to take her stepdaughter out into the winter fields and leave her there to die, and he obeys. Father Frost finds her there; she is polite and kind to him, so he gives her a chest full of beautiful things and fine garments. After a while, her stepmother sends her father to bring back the girl's body to be buried, which he also obeys. After a while, the family dog says that the girl is coming back, and that she is beautiful and happy.
When the stepmother sees what her stepdaughter has brought back, she orders her husband to take her own daughter out into the fields. Unlike before, this child is rude to Father Frost, and he freezes her to death. When her husband goes out to bring her back, the dog says that she will be buried. When the father brings back the body, the old woman weeps.
