A Newbie here, and just wanted to say hello--

For general information I have bought a crown 7 e-cig but have not totally switched from regular cigs to the e-cig for a couple of reasons. I am a menthol smoker and because the fate of the e-cig seems to be in limbo in both the U.S. and Canada, I haven't been able to get the menthol cartridges. At least, that is why I think I have not been able to get them.

Another reason I have not switched over is because I have not been completely satisified with the whole vapour out put........I still find myself reaching for the "real thing". On the upside, it looks like there is plenty of advice avaliable here to deal with these issues.

In the interest of full disclosure, I work at a store that sells the crown 7.

Wow!!!!!! What an amazingly vibrant and active forum!!!!!!!! I first heard about the e-cigs while on vacation in the Dominican Republic. When I came back, I found the store I work in is selling them!!!!! LOL

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and comment on what a great and active forum this is. Also, please be patient as it will take me some time to catchup on what has already been posted, so if I make a statement or ask a question that has already been covered ad nauseum, please just point me to the appropriate thread(s).

You can get menthol carts and juice still, plenty of places have it.

Welcome to the forums! You'll find you can get ecigs much cheaper than what Crown sells them for. Also if your looking for masive vapor the Penstyle is really the way to go.

I didn't smoke menthol but I hear Puresmokers menthol flavor is pretty close

Another vote for the Pen.

On the transfer of Analogs to Vaporisors: If you are looking to get your noctine fix, the vaporisors will do that but you will have to deal with the differences on the mental aspect of it.

If you are looking for an EXACT replacement, this won't do, you must understand that you are replacing your nicotine delivery system and as with any change, you will have to deal with the differences.

On the legal aspects of this, I wouldn't be too concerned as this issue has been going on for a long time. If it does eventually get banned, I will look back at patches, gum, lozenges and the like, as they are all better than smoking the analogs.

Thank you all for the welcome and advice. I have to admit to feeling a tad overwhelmed. From not even knowing the product even existed a month ago to finding all of this information on this site......Wow.

I will likely stick with the crown 7 for now as it is what I have, but will look into the penstyle for a future purchase.
