I've been carrying it around in my hand and setting it in one of these for riding in the car, but I don't like having it in any of my pockets. I've tried front and back pockets as well as cargo pockets, and I don't always have somewhere to set it down, so I'd like a lanyard or even a belt holster for it.

Funny you should ask, I was just emailing with a leather goods artist to see if she makes holsters for the SVD....and she does!

I liked it but I was going to ask if it was possible to make the cup (I guess that's what you'd call it) gp a little higher up, maybe to about an inch below the fire button.
