The Subtank has a spring loaded pin, so if enough juice leaks into the air control base, it will leak out through the 510 connector. I had that happen to me once, and that was because I overprimed the coil and it leaked through the bottom of the coil into the air control base. One or two drops of liquid leaked out through the 510 connector. Luckily I noticed it in time and cleaned it out quickly.

Thank you, I'll keep that in mind if/when I make the move.

The subtank pin is not spring loaded. The pin is held in with some sort of rubber insulator. It does have some give but if you push in on it, it will squish the pin of the coil head too. It causes the resistance to jump around if you push it in too far. Ive also noticed this with evod heads.

the original subtank pin is supposed to be spring loaded;
I don't think its that way on the mini.

Thanks for the correction. When I had the bottom hardware off and I was rinsing it out I noticed the give in the pin and thought it was spring loaded.

I was just sitting here, and my istick 50w just fired by itself. It wont' fire now at all. It won't even turn off. i can see the battery power and its like its stuck on "im plugged in mode". When i did plug it in it still doesn't fire and while i was changing the automizer to see it fired by itself again full 10 sec and i couldn't do anything about it.

has anyone else experienced this?
Yes....It's known as BLS in a stick 50 thread (Bikenstein Light Show) This is one of mine :)

If you don't mind me asking, what ohm coil were you using. The .5 or 1.2 ??? And at what watt setting were you running it at ???
This happened to me also, once, and I am still using mine but using closer to 1 ohm coils and not pushing it past 21-22 watts
Hope you get it returned/replaced and find something you like/trust using. :)
