My god this thing ROCKS. So happy with the SB and the 510 atomizer has come to life. I had a set of atomizers that came with my first e-cig that I thought were dead and decided to see if 6v would revive them and it worked. They both put out some serious vapor again.
Some liquid doesn't taste all that good at 6v but VG is the ticket at higher voltages and I will be using that up until I get my shipment from china with the 18650s that I ordered a month ago... They should have been here days ago before the SB came in but luckily I also have a Prodigy and a few rcr123s that I could test the SB with.
The threads were a bit tight at first but I put some bar soap on them until I can get to Lowes for some Nolax or whatever it is. It helped a bunch to get past that tight spot in the threads. A trick is to take the tension off the spring by pushing on the end cap while turning it. You might also have to wiggle it a bit and turn it slowly. Don't force it. The soap helps with this for a temporary fix.
I love the build quality on this unit. You can tell pride goes into each and every piece. This is surely one that will stand the test of time with a little tender loving care. Just like a nice car, a little polish and keep the threads greased and it should provide many many years of service. Really worth the money.
My thanks go to Rob and Cddz for working so hard to bring this to market.
ps. also got my 901-510 adaptor so I can use the 510 on my SD. That is a really nice piece also. so small and functional. I was worried that it would be a bit to big in diameter to fit into the end of the SD but fits perfect. Really helps the rig a lot to go from the old 901 to the best atomizer out, the 510. So I feel like I got two new mods today... Thanks guys... Kudos Altsmoke!!!
