I decided to mess around and make a puck and this morning since it decided to snow and ice on us I got off of work, yah!
Since I had the time and I got an email from a vendor, I decided to make my own gooseneck. Saturday I decided to order a gooseneck from Totally Twisted Texas eliquid and got an email yesterday saying they were snowed in and mail orders will be delayed. I decided to make one own since I had a USB light and the time. Here is a shot of it. Most likely not finished as there is no on/off switch but fun non the less.

It has a 901 connection on there at the moment.

Here is the puck I made. Letting the glue dry before I use it though.

Very carefully with a dremel. It was some led light with 2 blue leds and a switch. It was molded into one piece from the looks. I essentially cut it down the sides to pry it open. The actual gooseneck itself has a metal band around the end of it so I never did cut any of the flexible area. It used to be a Thermaltake LED light. I picked it up a number of years ago and have not used in probably that long.

For the moment I am not doing much at all with it. I just wanted to see if I could do it. I am thinking of taking the USB plug off at the end and setting it up so I can use it easier in a pv. Not sure yet. Maybe I will just make a battery box with a female USB slot so I can just plug this into the box. It needs a switch before I can start using it. I was not planning on dropping the voltage.
