Here, There and Everywhere.
I have a LM2596 VV Mod I made out of a Speed Stick Deodorant container. Tried several copper pipe mods, a flashlight mod and am currently rough testing my Boxed VAMO... (Old VAMO died.. so I pulled the guts.. turns out it was only the main switch that died..)

I've ordered parts from Madvapes, Fasttech and various electrical parts companies. Picked up items at Home Depot, Lowes and others, including a dollar store.

It all depends on what your knowledge and skills are on what you can do.

If I wasn't such a 3rd rate builder, I'd be rich.. LOL

It's a LM2596 VV Mod, 2 18650 batteries. Works it's .... off.. I need to make access to the potentiometer a bit easier to access without shoving the whole thing back out of the case..

The "'B'AMO" (VAMO guts in a box..)

Still working on this one. It Works right now in it's test box. New parts are in the mail. Remotely wired the main switch to a 16mm switch, looking to do the same using small tactile switches for the - and + , but that one is close work with my fat fingers. Will basically be using the same stuff the folks use to build their DNA mods.. brass Chi You top cap, Hammond box and what not. Even found a source for cheap VAMO boards (Just have to see what the shipping is going to do to the cheap price quoted me).
Copper mods (14500) have been reconstituted for now.. but parts are coming in to restart those projects.
