The article was funny. But it was kind of like throwing stones at both sides of the fence.

"The anti-smoking forces will claim that smoking electric cigarettes will lead our impressionable young to try real cigarettes, then marijuana and, inevitably, even more dangerous substances like ...... and McDonalds double-cheeseburgers."

**That was mad funny!

"Prices vary but work out to the equivalent of paying $5 for a pack of real cigarettes.
And E-cigarettes were invented in China, so you KNOW they gotta be safe."

**That was a low blow. LOL. And I don't really get what they meant about the $5 deal. It's cheaper. I guess they are thinking it's the same.

It comes off as a little sarcastic in some points but overall, a good story I think

New electronic cigarettes will catch fire here - Hawaii Features - Starbulletin.com

i know its not much, but on the plus side its hard to find a bad article out here about e-cigs,

I wish the rest of the country did it island style :(

Nice find. Sooner or later, public opinion and the truth will win out. There is an estimated 50 million smokers in the US alone. That's a lot of voices... just keep spreading the word. Good things to come.

Im not sure, but cigs out here are ab $8 a pack, and shipping is more too, maybe they were factoring that in, or just guessing

When's the last time you priced them?

I was out for dinner in the tourist area of Kona with friends last week. Left my 901 at home and wanted a puff after the meal. Went into the ABC (like a mainland 7/11) down the block. I was going to buy a pack but was shocked that they now got $9.40 for typical brands. I'm sure Wallmart and others would be cheaper but still...

I don't think you can spend near ten bucks for a pack in any mainland state.
