Hi, its been a little over 90 days since I've last had a cigarette! So I have a question for my fellow SI buddies.

I enjoy having Hookah sessions when I am with friends, I will be going camping next month with my friends and we always bring our Hookah set with us. So I am wondering will doing Hookah make me relapse and go back to cigarettes?

Thanks!!

I see no one has answered you. Probably no one knows.
I've heard a hookah is alot like electronic cigarettes. If you have smoked on one, you probably know the differences.
If I ever have opportunity...I wouldn't mind trying one to see what they are like. If it's just nicotine flavored liquid, (it's liquid in it, right...not tobacco?) I would imagine it would be the same thing.

The truth is, anything can make you go back to analogs. However, when you get that urge for a cigarette, go for your Volt instead. I smoke Hookah occasionally and it has never made me want a cigarette...even when I was a smoker. Hookah has a lower nicotine level and it is not burned, so much as heated. Thus, many non-smokers can enjoy Hookah without the nicotine cravings. And if you are still using nicotine in your Volt juices, then using your Volt will be enough to satisfy the cravings.

Make the commitment now, prepare for the urge beforehand, and you will be fine. Any actual urges you have for an analog will fade after three minutes, so just find something else to do. Hell, clean the Hookah if it will keeps your mind occupied and your hands busy.

You have been analog free for 90 days! That is a wonderful accomplishment! Don't ruin that record by smoking another cigarette, there is simply no need for it!

You can remain analog free, just make up your mind to do it and you will be fine. Enjoy your campout, your Hookah and your Volt!! :)

I think it depends on your level of nicotine in your liquid vs the tobacco in the hookah... if you worked your way down into 0.0 nic free liquid, and smoke tobacco out of a hookah there's a good chance you'd go back to analogs (first time I've called cigs analogs)... if you have nicotine in your juice already, my guess is you'd be fine smoking the hookah provided that you reach for your volt when you get a craving in the future.

As an example, I smoked 2-3 cigars a day and cigarettes during work and switched to the volt for my daily needs- leaving cigars as a once in a while thing now and zero analogs. With the Volt, I have not felt the need to smoke analogs nor smoke cigars outside of social gatherings (like your hookah plans).
