I've never been an alcoholic or a naranon candidate although I did my share of drinking and other stuff
But I did used to attend some AA meetings with a friend of mine back in the mid 90's just to see what the deal was and to support him. After the meetings we'd hit clematis st in WPB to pick up girls and Id get good and alcohol buzzed and he'd just hang.
So I learned the lingo.

I learned the program details from two uncles whose lives were saved by it. Huge supporter.
One of them had a bumper sticker on his camper: Easy Does It. I was about 8 and asked him the significance of the slogan. He filled me in on his own trials and how the group was the only reason he and I were having this conversation.
