Hey Everyone,

I wanted to start opening a dialogue about the "business card" for Hoosier Vapers. I'd like to figure out what kind of information we want to put on the card. I think it would be good to have a brief paragraph of what vaping is, how it's beneficial, where to start, etc. I'd also like to provide links to our site as well as ECF. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone like to take on the task of making the initial draft for that paragraph?
We want the paragraph to be easy to understand, professional, accurate, and informative.

Once we get the content down, I'll start working on the actual design of it itself. Once we get a design and content we can all agree on. I'll order 500-1000 to start and then mail them out to people who want them to hand out.

Any thoughts, ideas, etc. are welcome.

:D

Rough Draft #1:

What are Vapers? Vapers have switched from inhaling smoke from burning tobacco to inhaling vapor. Vapor contains a small amount of nicotine, food flavorings, and the same carrier solution used in fog machines and does not have tar nor any carcinogenic compounds present in the combustion of tobacco.
How do I get started? Ask an Hoosier Vaper Club member or visit the links provided on this card.
What are the requirements to become a Hoosier Vaper Club member? First be from or live in Indiana and vape. There are no dues or fees so just visit Hoosier Vapers - Vaping along the crossroads of America to find out when a club meeting is coming to a location near you.

We could do some QR codes on the back that go to the most relevant links...

Well said Hoosier. Might have to condense that a bit to fit it on a biz card size, but I dig it.

The line I have in my head is sort of a tagline... "Hoosiers working together to promote Tobacco Harm Reduction, e-cigarettes, and vaping culture."

Other random notes:

"To serve as a centralized platform for all Indiana based vapers and vendors (non-sales, event promotion and sponsor, etc.) for sharing knowledge, industry news, legislative analysis, and event promotion."
"Bringing Indiana vapers together to push the movement forward benefiting the health of all Hoosiers."

Eh, that's all my brain has at the moment. Dang, do I have to get some work done now? :glare:

Dude, those are awesome! I have only one edit. Rather than the ecf link on the bottom of the front side, can we put the facebook link? facebook.com/hoosiervapers My feeling is that in the long run, only us die-hard-vaping-nutjobs will be on ecf, and the average Hoosier Vaper will stay connected via the main site or through facebook.

Good work man, thanks again!

First off, AMAZING JOB! They look absolutely wonderful Trep! My only thought is with the verbage on the back. You reference using the "same carrier solution as fog machines" and I think this may still put people off. Given that PG is also used as the carrier agent in asthma inhalers would you guys think this would be a less threatening reference than fog machines? Just curious.

I was taking Hoosier's words. I can reword. What does everyone think.

Oh and I updated the link on the front capt :D

Ok, so I have a suggested change...

The statement "nor any of the carcinogenic compounds present..." is somewhat incorrect. There are trace amounts of TSNA's.

Maybe we should go with the more common "or any of the over 4000 chemicals present..."

What do folks think? Sorry to send it through committee again on you Trep.

Huh? The qualifier "present in the combustion of tobacco". Which aims it toward the combustion components. It didn't say "present in tobacco" which would be wrong with the trace amounts of TSNA's that come from the nicotine extraction.
