I'm setting up links to all the local legislation pages of various municipalities I can find to make it easier to watch for, or access any legislation of concern. So if you live somewhere in Hoosier land and happen to know the link for your local legislation, please post it here.

Particularly I'm looking for the pages that list out proposed legislation, agendas, minutes, etc. but not all cities have that I'm finding.

I think it would be awesome to have a single list of links one could check for e-cig bans.

Haha I was wondering how long it would take someone to notice. Not long...

I built that very late last night. The script to generate it still has ZERO error checking, and I have not yet built a form to generate "forum code" to easily add it.

However, for the tinkerers and the brave, you can modify the following URL which generates a .png image.

Just modify the variables after the "?" to your own info.
quitdate = the date you quit in yyyy-mm-dd format
ppd = packs you smoked per day as a decimal value (1, 1.5, etc.)
ppp = price per pack as a decimal value (4.50, 5, 5.50 etc.)

As I add some error checking and build a generator form, I will TRY to not break it on you, key word...TRY

I don't know of any local legislation of the State of Indiana or more localized governments, but here is a link to the federal court transcript in which the US District Court issued an injunction against the FDA for trying to block imports of e-cigs and ban "flavored tobacco" all together. https://ecf.dcd.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/show_public_doc?2009cv0771-54 Most of it is about as entertaining as Moby ***.... (no offense if someone likes that book, I just have nightmares of being forced to read it in ninth grade), but Judge Leon's snide comments to the FDA are pretty funny. He calls them out on another "obvious attempt" to control tobacco as a drug when it is clearly written into law that it can only be regulated per the tobacco act. And he actually makes some pretty supportive statements of e-cigs in general, such as it is hard to imagine that anything could be worse for public health than tobacco cigarettes (after the FDA claimed e-cigs were a threat to public health and safety). Ok, sorry for the rant... I hope this can be of some help to your research.

I just flipped it to "Prefer FB profile pic" just to see.... My gravatar was working as well. I don't have much of a preference for either one if anyone cares which way...
