Hey all, about to finish this one up and wanted to post a few pics of the progression. Reached a few goals I set for myself. Now all that is left is running the positive wire and modding the igo. Plus cutting the finger hole. I wouldn't mind adding a fuse any ideas on that? Input would be appreciated. Should be vaping it tomorrow if all goes well.

Very respectable, I can't wait to see the finished mod. Is there any chance you could round out the corners more? I know you have to keep material for the magnets and it can't really be a match for the atty side, but it doesn't need to and the ergonomics would shoot up out of the roof. Do you plan to thumb fire it?

You could certainly add an inline PTC fuse, you just need to decide how many amps you want to allow, aka what coils and batts you plan to run in it.

Looking great!

Very Nice.

Finally finished rounded the back corners. You where right asdaq, much better in hand. Had to redesign the firing pin/feed. turned a piece of 304SS with enough of a nipple to friction fit the tube. Much better than my first method of running a needle bottle into a silicone gasket. The force needed to create a seal that way kept popping the mags. On to the next.

Thanks, Zebrawood sounds good. If I can get any at the wood supplier I frequent Ill pick up a chunk. Got to work back the weekend then got a few days off. I want to do away with the door since I know the components work and have the whole assembly pull out the top. Should make it pretty durable. Would like to make it at least half to three quarter inch shorter. My goal is to bring the finish dimensions to 1" x 2" x 3" and keep a 10 ml bottle and 18650.

Man that is nice! Now I wish I had a metal lathe and the skills to turn my own connectors. Really great workmanship!

Thanks, I have had that old Atlas lathe for awhile now, used it to make fountain pens. It is so worn out now keeping close tolerances is a trick. But it still has a little work left in it. zoiDman that is some pretty wood I've made a few knives in my day and those slabs would compliment a well made blade.
