I have been frustrated with using my cartos, just not lasting very long, and while remaning pretty wet looking, the TH, flavor, and vapor goes away. My juice, Wyatt Earp, is a dark colored, 50/50 pg/vg mix. In doing some reading here, I've discovered that the problem may be the vg. If I understand it right, the vg doesn't do much for wicking in a carto, and going to a 70/30 or a 80/20 mix makes it a lot better. So I am going to try a different flavor, one with a lighter color and higher pg %. Supposedly with that you can vape a carto almost dry. Now a question. I don't want a real strong TH, I'm wondering which mix will be best, the 70/30 or the 80/20? Hopefully I'm getting on the right track here in solving my carto problem. Thanks.

I use 70/30 in my 306 cartos and it wicks great, almost completely dry before i refill. I use a bunch of medium dark flavors no problems. I haven't noticed any difference in the performance when using dark compared to light juices. I started using 70/30 because i like the smoothness, sweetness and vapor production of that ratio not for wicking issues.
