Now, I've read/watched the reviews and thought "Hey, let's give it a whirl." Problem is, I don't get the hype. I have a nearly full 30mL bottle here, extra flavor (I got no flavor out of the regular flavor sampler I tried) at 12mg and I get next to no taste out of it. No butterscotch, no caramel...just a teeny bit of a cotton candy-esque taste, but I have to try to even taste that.

It's been steeping for about a month now, and no progress. I still taste next to nothing in it. What's up with that?

I've tried it at high and low voltages and I've always used a new (or new-ish) atty that I know works. Where's the flavor?

I use 3.2V for HopScotch. It taste good at 3.7v also, but you need to keep things topped off. I am not sure what carto/atty you use, but I have an eGo-T and it has always tasted very well in it -- even when I first got it. I also purchased 30ML. I mostly drip and that's where I find HopScotch tastes best.

That being said, if you eat butterscotch candy or anything close to what you are vaping, you will almost negate that flavor from your juices. I did this with Pink Lemonade. It is what I mostly drink. I get no flavor from the juice.

The is strange. Mine is now steeped 8 months, so it tastes awesome, but I also loved it when it was a few weeks old. Maybe it is just one of those flavors that your taste buds just don't work right with.

It could very well be...I've had a few of those before. I'm curious though, what does it smell like to you? Or anyone else. It smells like just a tiny bit of cotton candy to me.

Mine has a very deep butterscotch smell to it. It has hints of other sweet things though. Very pronounced.

Maybe it's just one of yhose flavours your tastebuds don't work with. For me, it's coconut. Everyone raves about coconut cream, including people with similar tastes to me. I get almost no flavour from it, and what I do get tastes like soap.

With hopscotch, I get a very strong rich butterscotch smell, with the same taste. It's in my top 2 favourites.

I'm with Elphaba on this Nick, everyone has certain flavors that just don't work for them. Mine is any coffee flavor. I just got my first bottle ever of Hopscotch tonight and tried it. It's probably one of the richest dessert flavors I've tried in an e-liquid. Nice buttery aroma and taste, very much like the candy would be.

Hmm. Strange. Maybe there is something in hopscotch that negates your ability to taste it, that butterscotch doesn't have?

If so, I'm genuinely sad for you. All butterscotch lovers deserve to enjoy hopscotch. I hope the tips everyone suggested helps, (I know I have to steep hopscotch for about a month). If not, i am so sorry!!!!!

Think about it this way, at least it isn't killing my atty or making me sick. It could be worse! :)

I am in your boat dj. I can smell butterscotch just fine but when it comes to taste it's zip, nada. I've discovered though that I can't even taste the candies now which is a big bummer because that used to be one of my favorite flavors. The last batch of hopscotch cookies the wife made were only really enjoyed by her and the kids as I could only taste the cookie part.

I have a 120ml of butterscotch and a smaller bottle of hopscotch that have been steeping now since Nov of 2010. I pull them out occasionally to see if I can taste them as I so want to enjoy them, they smell so wonderful. I'm at the point where I give samples of them to family members and friends that are trying new flavors.

Here's to hoping that the tastebuds come around.

I hope there's room for one more in the boat. Hopscotch to me tastes like vaguely sweet nothing... it's stronger when I drip than in a carto, and as I've had it (for a few months now) it's improved in flavor and darkened immensely to a rich amber color. Still, I really wish I had ordered this one with extra flavor, and even then, I'm not sure it'd be enough.

Oh my God Celebran! That would be my worst nightmare. I've been vaping hopscotch non stop since yesterday. That would be terrible. massive massive hugs to you.

Oh my doG for sure!!!!! I've been vaping, almost exclusively, Hopscotch and Butterscotch Almond, since fall 2010. Sorry I missed the overnight sale but surely there is another great sale coming soon. I always have at least one REO loaded with each and sometimes two REOs loaded with each. They taste a little different on each type REO.

There is one other vender's Butterscotch I like a lot but it is so rich I can't do it as my all day, 365/24/7 juice (and can't purchase in quantities nor great sales). I don't like fruit, coffee, chocolate, and most other flavors to vape (but certainly love eating them). I'm very thankful to have good taste receptors for HopS and BA.

Go FSUSA. You are the best!!!!!

Alice
