Horizontal Coil Cartomizers - a question

I've heard that you need to take apart a horizontal coil cartomizer in order to clean it. That the coil can be difficult to clean. Is this true? If so, how do you go about cleaning them?

to clean cartos, many boil them....taking them apart generally ruins them (or in a horizontal coil, turns them into a drip atty)

i recommend an overnight vodka soak , followed by a flushing with super hot water, followed by a 24 hour drying period.

There are one or two cartomizers that you can take apart. I think the echo and maybe gogo cartos can be taken apart. Some of the clear dual coil cartos can be taken apart fairly easily.

Horizontal coil cartos - I don't think any can.

You can try what elmattias suggested. The most difficult aspect for me was getting them dry. They have to be bone dry or they're a soggy mess.

i know for a fact the smokeless image cartos can be taken apart and converted to drip attys....as far as reassembling cartos though, that's a whole different ballgame.
