Looking at the ingredients, I sure can't explain why you like it, lol. Are you a fan of those individual flavors?

I have all of the flavorings. Horchata, Banana Cream, and that coconut are in my PIF box; never found a way to use them that I especially liked. So, what the heck - I'll mix a sample of your recipe and hope for a magical synergy that makes them taste great together.

Well how's this for fast: I'm vaping my 2ml sample now. It certainly is a billowy vape.

When I went to retrieve the flavors I knew were in my PIF box, I found they were ALL there. So I'm starting with 4 flavors I have completely rejected. I made a 2ml size according to your recipe, sat it in warm water, shook the heck out of it. I'm just not a steeper.

The Horchata gives a clove-sweet initial taste. It works better in this mix than in most I've made, and I can taste more of the cinnamon, which I do like, and less of the clove. Sweet Cream is a flavor I set aside because I get a gym-socks aftertaste. At just 3% here, it did not give that taste, so that's good. I'm neutral on banana vapes, but it's a small enough ingredient that it gives me no negative reaction. The Coconut Extra was set aside because it tastes musty to me. Sadly, I still get that dry, musty exhale with this recipe. Darn! If I could eliminate the musty exhale of the coconut, I'd really like this.

I've used Coconut Candy in the past to sub for Coconut Extra. Sometimes it works, usually it doesn't. ONE time I got a great taste of sweetened coconut, like eating it from the bag, but I never could duplicate that. sob. When I'm done with this sample, I'll try it in place of Coconut Extra.

Coconut Extra definitely goes back in the PIF box or down the sink. The others get to move back into my DIY kit, along with your recipe to try with the candy flavor. Given that these were 4 flavors I dislike, and that I can actually vape this recipe & will try it again, that's pretty high praise for your recipe. Way better than I'd anticipated :)

As I vaped this I realized I *really* like the tongue-sweetness (like clove gives) of Horchata with the Sweet Cream. That combination is totally going in my recipe notes for creamy, sweet fruit blends. When I cut Horchata to 6% I lost the clove taste completely and kept the sweetness. Yeah!! (not being a big fan of clove) Now I have a 'smoothie' base :)

JulesXsmoker, I hope it doesn't offend you that I used yours as a base for other blends. I'm vaping this right now:
TFA Horchata 6.00 %
TFA Sweet Cream 3.00 %
CAP Peaches and Cream 2.00 %
TFA Pineapple 2.00 %
(with a bit of coconut hanging out on the wick, which I'm liking at this unmeasurable tiny percent)

Smooth, creamy, sweet, gooood - like a fruit smoothie!

The total 4% fruit flavors would be good with LOTS of combinations. Mango with Peaches and Cream....Orange, Pineapple, Banana with a little Rum.... Strawberry with Banana... even a berry blend. Anything you'd like in smoothie would be delicious!

Anyone who likes the flavor of Coconut Extra will probably love your original. Wish I could find a coconut flavoring I really like, but TWO THUMBS UP for the smoothie base flavor - thanks!!

MissAmerican, I've never tried the Capella version, but the TFA as a standalone flavor (I used 12% then) is nothing but clove and cinnamon to me. In fact I think it's actually called "Horchata Base"; there's no cream or vanilla to be found. Not being a big clove fan, you can see why it ended up in my reject bin. But this has definitely redeemed it!

Wow you guys are nuts! I added 1% TFA Horchata to a cake mix I made a while back, and it ended up overpowering everything in the mix. Maybe it just wasn't the right recipe for it. I still have it laying around, but I've moved over to Cap's Horchata for the time being. It seems to me like Cap's is more sweet and mellow, but it maintains the cinnamon/spice essence of the Horchata. I use this at .5-1% in various mixes and it does it's job. Maybe I'll get myself amped up enough to mix the TFA at a higher % with a sweet cream base like you guys are trying, but I'm scared.

I have also heard Cap's Horchata, which I am going to buy is also a bit mellower on the Cinnamon, I am not a big clove fan, but sometimes an original taste may seem odd with out it. (or not, with this) I just stumbled across various, but very few Horchata recipes and found similar ingredients more common in different mixes more than others, and tried to use a consensus of those in this, so I have no problem with any one tweaking this out even more
My mix, almost gone now, is losing a bit of sweetness to it, or my buds are getting tired of creams for a spell as this is aging more.
I will make another batch this week end. I want to try maybe a Flavour Art or Hangsen Coconut, to see if I can boost the coconut sweetness some..I call it Hornuts for the Horn >> Horchata and the Extra Coconut(s) >> Nuts :D

Well, I about choked on it as a standalone flavor, so I understand. It didn't work in any of my recipes, this BUT TRY Jules' idea! I'm now vaping 6% Horchata 3% Sweet Cream with 1% each of Dragonfruit, Lychee, Watermelon, and Lime. (It's GOOOOD) I had someone else try it. They got that it's fruit...thought maybe some orange (nope)...berries (nope)..."creamy tropical". Close enough. NO mention of clove or cinn! I know, weird. You get the sweet and somewhat cool feel of clove without the punch-you-in-the-face spice. It needs NO sweetener because of that. Just make a 1-2ml recipe, which won't waste much if you hate it. Use any 2-4 fruits you like to total 4% and have a go.

My bottle of dragon, lychee, watermelon, lime is nearly empty. Can't decide what combo to do next. Maybe dragonfruit, mandarin, lime. Maybe an orange, banana, fresh fig. Or honeydew, lime, cantaloupe. ALL the fruits I rejected as standalones are tasty in this recipe (well, except coconut). Maybe I'll give FW Prickly Pear another try if I can think of complementary flavors.

JulesXsmokr, I don't know if my combos would have lost sweetness overnight. I made 1-2ml batches and they've been sucked up fast. YUM and THANKS again for this way to try out all my fruit flavors. :vapor::vapor:

I think I lost my vape tongue for a day or 2.
I have changed up a bit on the recipe. I left out the banana, I think it contributed to the slight mustiness.
I subbed in its place some FA Vienna Cream at 3.00%.. Horchata still is 7.00%- Sweet cream at 3.00% now - coconut extra at 2.00%
I am liking this even more.. adjust your wattage for your throat hit..:vapor:

How is that pineapple doing for you in this? I just received some Cap's pineapple and am wanting to give it a whirl.

I like the TFA Pineapple and most other fruits I tried in it. I tried 5-6 different flavor combos. I think one with lime and watermelon was my favorite. I'm still surprised - never thought I'd use that Horchata! Weirdest combo I tried: Fresh Fig, Ginger, Orange. Those flavors worked very well together.

Yah - I'll bet your FA Vienna Cream works well, too. Do you find it adds a sharp taste? I like the flavor but haven't made much from it yet. I've been busy with FA Custard, currently vaping a rum-almond-custard sort of mix.

this last bottle I made is gone now.:p
I'm actually trying to take a bit of sharp note off the cinnamon in the horchata, I do like it with a sweet/tart cinnamon bite, but for a longer term vape and dripping, I am trying to tone that bite just a tiny bit. Probably would help to make a dripper mix at 12 mg. No sharp taste with the vienna cream I can tell. I will try the capella horchata, really itching to see what that does.. I like to buy about a dozen flavors at a time so my shopping list is growing slow. I have a lot of flavors already. I'm a flown blown novice, about 2 mos. of really trying out some flavorings. I make about 12 -15 (3-5ml.) mixes per week..and just single flavor/pg only combos also.

i wish i would have had the sense, when i started out diy, with just mixing single flavors. i do it now so i can get familiar with the individual flavor in my base mix and therefore get a taste for what it may mix well with to suit my likes. i have found that many of the singles are good just staying single. :O)

Another 30 ml. batch - and I have done most of what I was trying to improve upon. removed a little sharpness and some mustiness of the coconut.. 4 days steep time so far, filled an evod and an RSST and I am consuming it right up, a little less throat hit at 7 to 7-1/2 watts now. RSST with a 1.1 ohm coil and ss mesh on a mech.
TFA Horchata 7%
TFA Sweet Cream 3%
TFA Banana Cream 2%
FA Vienna Cream 2%
Vape Wizard .5%
