I was really surprised by this. Took my wife to the hospital at 6:30am for minor surgery on her hand.(yes, all went well):) While checking in, I thought what the heck, I am going to stealth vape anyway so why not ask and see what happens. Well, asking the receptionist got the typical what's vaping response. So I gave her a V4L card and a short explanation. Again typical response was I don't know and I'll have to check with my supervisor but she doesn't come in until 8am. So I figured ok, I tried. Just went to the break room and vaped once in a while. Well, prepare to be amazed. No red tape, no stall, just an answer. :shock:My wifes surgical nurse came running after me and said vaping has been approved for use in the hospital surgical waiting rooms:D:cool::thumb::thumbs:. I really think that asking, providing the V4L card, introducing it as an alternative to smoking and stating that I, a several pack a day smoker, had been smoke free since last July, all worked to get the approval.
Just as a side note, as the smokers came in from the 29'F cold and saw me vaping, I gave out every card I had to those that asked. Hope it will be a business boost for V4L. Don't you just know that now I have to place another order:rolleyes: to get more cards of course.
