Last week, I woke up in the middle of the night with acute abdominal and chest pains. 8 hours later the pain was still as intense and showed no sign of abating, so I called myself an ambulance.... to cut a long story short it's my gall bladder and I get to go back in November to have it whipped out as apparently you don't need one. Go figure.
But.... what was cool about the whole experience, was that I asked the ward Sisters if I could vape, and was told I could.
So there's me in the hospital bed, vaping away over my 4 day stay. Awesome!
Smoker a couple of beds over shot me looks of hate every time he went for a ... (every five minutes), but he didn't seem interested in finding out more. meh.
Edit: Just spotted the hospital thread further down. For reference I'm in the UK so not sure how applicable it would be in the States.
