What's with all the new, non-vapor type ads today? Not sure how long they've been here, as I only just noticed them. Ads that are specifically related to vaping are great - I even use them for supplies at times. But, hot Asian girls? Can we please only use vapor related ads? I'd be willing to contribute if the site is in need of funds, as I'm sure other vapers would be as well, if it would rid us of these.

Thanks, and I really appreciate the site. It has proven to be a wonderful wealth of information that has helped me to greatly improve my life.

Could have been a glitch with whoever the forum uses for ads, probably Doubleclick. Online ads are very, very smart these days- possibly you hit the site upgrade at the perfectly wrong time, and got served an ad you shouldn't have.

To be safe Norton is OK for viruses, but I'd also sweep out your browser cache, cookies and passwords, and also run CCCleaner.

Do note that the OP said it was time to run Norton "again", implying that they are not running real time (on access) anti-virus software. If true, that leaves any current operating system open to all manure of stuff getting through, simply by maintaining an open connection to the internet. I know more people with Norton on their system that always end up buried in, shall we say, "stuff that shouldn't be there." Either because they don't know how to use Norton or Norton is just crap. I never figured out which. I run Avast anti-virus instead and nothing has gotten past that program yet. If my system is powered on that program is active and running.

Make sure you update the Norton signature file and any other updates that it recommends. If you're subscription has run out and you want a good free anti-virus software, then Avast is a good choice as well as AVG or Avira. For additional protection, also take a look into the free version of Malwarebytes (anti-malware) and SuperAntiSpyware and run scans using these at least once a week.
