This is my first post in this section and I keep thinking of this. I am a Hot Rod guy and have been for yrs although due to ecomony, marriage, and family sold my last ride, a '68 RS/SS 350 pwred Camaro (with Fact. A/C). Don't know if I can make it happen but someday I want something new to play with.

Anyway I have a GLV2 that I use daily. It is very sturdy, solid, well built and the craftmanship is (IMHO) perfect. When I have it in my hand I think of a B&M, Hurst, Mr. Gasket T-handle or something of the like. Well then I go to thinking of the Pistol Grip handles from Hurst. It would make such an awesome vape mod. It would take some work like milling out the center for a batt cavity, that would be the hardest thing to get completed. Drilling for a switch and 510 connector and designing a end cap for the batt cavity.
I worked for several yrs in the metal and steel fab industry and wish I had access to this kind of machinery (CNC). I could just see one of these in hands vaping away on it.

Switch is too large on this one but...

Anyway just wondering if this has crossed any other car nuts mind?

Well I haven't built a Hurst PV YET but I am going to start giving this some serious thought - 1st need to go get the handle and see how I can arrange it all. I want somthing simple, clean looks, and 5 volt (minimum).

Yea I really miss some of my rides; 67 GTO ragtop, Nova's 68, 69, 72, 78, 68 Impala SS, 66 SS Chevelle, 66, 72 Caminos, Camaros 68 RS/SS, 76, 82 Z-28, 70 C10 shrt box lowered PU, 72 Cutlass, 76 GP, 72 Chevy 3/4t 4x4 PU, and one of my favorites an 84 Ford Ranger PU 350 pwrd (this one was trouble on the streets of Fargo). Miss them all but should have never sold the Goat. We also have a 66 427 Stingray Vette and 32 Ford 3 Window Coupe street rod in the family but hope to inherit the 32. ;)
